Advanced knowledge in English. Students whose native language or former language of instruction is not English will have to present results from a language test like TOEFL (minimum 88 points), IELTS (minimum 6.5), Cambridge Main Suite of English Examinations, or additional tests published on the TUM Matriculation Office's web page. If examinations amounting to 20 credits in English-language examination modules were taken in the undergraduate degree programme (Bachelor's) OR if the final thesis was/is written in English, adequate knowledge of the English language is also proven herewith. Knowledge of German is not required.

Academic Admission
A qualified Bachelor's degree of at least six semesters obtained at a national or foreign university or a degree of at least equivalent value is required. There is no requirement as to which subject this degree is in. Advanced knowledge in English must be demonstrated (see below). Evidence of a successfully passed vocational internship (min. eight weeks in the field of sport science) before starting the Master's studies is required. Alternatively, a professional activity in the field of health science, for whose qualification the Master's degree course contributes, can also be recognised. Proof of this must be provided before the start of the course, but no later than five weeks after the start of lectures. Applicants must successfully pass the selection procedure (plus a written test) in order to be admitted to the programme.
APS Certificate
An APS certificate is required for applicants who have completed their qualifying education in India, China, or Vietnam.
