Academic Admission

Grade average of 2.5 or better according to the German system (in which 1.0 is the best grade and 4.0 is the worst passing grade) A suitable Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, electrical engineering, (bio)medical engineering or similar disciplines is required. Students with a non-technical background (medicine, biochemistry, nursing, etc.) are not eligible. Advanced knowledge in the fields of mathematics, computer science, and electrical engineering Experience with Linux operating system Advanced programming skills in C/C++, Java, Matlab, Python Each application will be checked individually by the entrance qualification board for medical engineering. Suitable candidates are invited to an online admission exam (60 minutes), in which their knowledge in mathematics, algorithms and basic knowledge in their chosen branch of study (i.e. electrical engineering, computer science/artificial intelligence) are tested. APS Certificate

An APS certificate is required for applicants who have completed their qualifying education in India, China, or Vietnam.
