Requirements

Academic Admission

Entrance Qualification for Higher Education ("Hochschulzugangsberechtigung"): Recognition of the applicant's school and university education as the required entrance qualification for universities in Germany depends on the system of secondary/tertiary education in his or her home country. There are general admission requirements that the university expects all applicants with foreign documents to fulfil: Your secondary school diploma or university degree must be recognised as entitling you for admission to a Bachelor's programme. Be sure that you satisfy the requirement for recognition. To do so, you can make use of information provided by the German Academic Exchange Service or the Anabin database of the Central Office for Foreign Education ("Zentralstelle für ausländisches Bildungswesen").

APS Certificate

An APS certificate is required for applicants who have completed their qualifying education in India, China, or Vietnam.
