Applicants must provide proof of their English skills: valid TOEFL 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based), 79 (Internet-based), or valid IELTS (academic test) band 6.0. The test must not be than 24 months on the day the application is filed online with the University of Stuttgart. Applications without one of the two above-mentioned test results will be considered incomplete and will not be evaluated for admission. Other test formats than TOEFL or IELTS or confirmations from universities (English as the medium of instruction) are not accepted. Please see the MIP website for details.

Academic Admission
Admission requirements include a qualified Bachelor's degree (minimum three years / six semesters) in civil engineering, architecture, urban planning, regional planning or closely related fields. Bachelor's studies have to be completed by the time of application. Temporary or preliminary Bachelor's degree certificates are not accepted. Professional experience related to the field of infrastructure planning is recommended, but not mandatory for the application. A list of mandatory documents must be uploaded with the online application. Incomplete applications will not be evaluated. Please find details on our website.
APS Certificate
An APS certificate is required for applicants who have completed their qualifying education in India, China, or Vietnam.
