Applicants whose native language is not English are required to provide evidence of sufficient English proficiency in spoken and written language, using the certificates recognised by OTH Regensburg. At least level B1 should be demonstrated under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. However, level B2 is strongly recommended to keep up with the tempo of the course. Accepted certificates of English language proficiency are as follows: IELTS certificate TOEFL certificate Cambridge Certificate, level B1 TELC, level B1 Graduation certificate from a public or state-recognised high school in Germany You do not need to provide a certificate: if you can prove that you have attended school and passed all the exams completely in English if you completed an English study programme
