Academic Admission
Applicants for the PhD programme must have an advanced academic degree (MSc or equivalent) in fields such as biology, biochemistry, biophysics, bioinformatics, bioengineering, pharmacology, neuroscience, translational medicine, or a related area. Furthermore, they must have gained sufficient research experience during their studies. Applications will also be accepted if the Master's degree has not yet been awarded by the time of application. However, it must be awarded before the start of the individual PhD projects between July and October of the respective year. Students holding a Bachelor's degree with outstanding grades and exceptional scientific qualification are encouraged to apply to our Master fellowship programme ( https://www.ageing-grad-school.de/master/master-programme-overview/ )!
