Applicants whose native language is not German or English must provide evidence of sufficient German or English proficiency in spoken and written language using the certificates recognised by the OTH Regensburg. For the English study programme, only proficiency of English language is required. We only accept the certificates listed below (no medium of instruction letters). We accept the following English language certificates: IELTS Academic Test level B2, with an overall score of 6.0 TOEFL iBT with a minimum of 85 points Cambridge English Qualification with a minimum of 170 points TELC level B2 PTE Academic Test B2 (59 to 75 points) We accept the following German language certificates: DSH 1 or TestDaF (with at least TND 3 in all elements) Goethe certificate, telc certificate (at least C 1) DSD Deutsches Sprachdiplom (level II with at least B2 in all elements) DSP II certificate (level C1)
