Academic Admission
You are eligible to apply for the MSc Economics programme if: you hold a Bachelor’s degree in economics with an overall average grade of 2.5 or better (German grading scale, this corresponds to a U.S. GPA of at least B-/C+) and your Bachelor's study programme fulfils the following criteria: Basics: you took courses in microeconomics and macroeconomics totalling at least 20 credit points (ECTS). Advanced knowledge: on top of that, you took courses in the field of economics totalling at least another 20 credit points (ECTS). Methods: you took courses in maths, statistics and econometrics totalling at least 15 credit points (ECTS). and you can provide documentation of English proficiency (details below). If you hold a Bachelor’s degree in a field adjacent to economics or if you do not meet the 2.5 average grade criterion, there are additional eligibility criteria. APS Certificate
An APS certificate is required for applicants who have completed their qualifying education in India, China, or Vietnam.
