Academic Admission

A German high school diploma ("Allgemeine Hochschulreife", "Abitur") or equivalent If your foreign high school diploma is not equivalent to the German high school diploma, you must complete a preparatory course for university studies ("Studienkolleg") in Germany before beginning your studies, culminating in an assessment test ("Feststellungsprüfung – FSP"). At a Studienkolleg, you will be prepared for studying at a German university. The preparatory year ends with the FSP, which, in combination with your foreign school diploma, entitles you to study at Chemnitz University of Technology.
