Academic Admission

For details on the requirements for application and on the selection procedure, please consult the admission rules and regulations ("Ordnung über die Zugangsvoraussetzungen und über die Zulassung für den Master-Studiengang Chemie"). Please feel free to contact us if you need advice. Short overview: You can apply for admission to the Master’s programme if you have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree (at least six semesters) in chemistry and obtained 180 credits. Alternatively, undergraduates can apply as soon as they have obtained at least 150 credits. If the subject of the Bachelor’s degree was not chemistry, the equivalence will be checked by our selection committee. International applicants have to submit proof of sufficient knowledge of German or English. If there are twice as many applicants as there are spaces, a selection interview will take place. If there are less or equal as many applicants as spaces, no selection interviews will be conducted.

APS Certificate

An APS certificate is required for applicants who have completed their qualifying education in India, China, or Vietnam.
