English proficiency level B2 or higher is required and needs to be documented by one of the following: language test results completion of undergraduate studies in the English language There is no requirement to formally prove German language skills for your admission. You may start with little or no German language proficiency. However, the transition from your home country to the German university system and every day life will be made easier the more German you know. Furthermore, German skills will greatly increase your chances in finding a student job and or an internship at a German company.

Academic Admission
a) Proof of successful completion of a degree programme in engineering, natural sciences, technology or business administration, or computer science programme at a German university with at least 210 ECTS credit points or an equivalent level of study or an equivalent successful domestic or foreign degree b) Proof of at least one year of relevantly qualified practical professional experience after completing the university degree or equivalent qualification referred to in a); relevantly qualified practical professional experience particularly in the areas of product or technology development, information technology (IT) in general, enterprise resource planning (ERP), Industry 4.0, Internet of Things (IoT) or manufacturing execution system (MES); project work in the area of "digitisation of the company" is also considered relevantly qualified practical professional experience and c) Proof of sufficient knowledge of the English language (language level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
APS Certificate
An APS certificate is required for applicants who have completed their qualifying education in India, China, or Vietnam.
