Academic Admission

Applicants must hold a completed university degree with at least 210 ECTS credits in Computer Science or an equivalent closely related field with an overall grade of 2.5 or better (German grading scale). Strong emphasis is placed on prior coursework in mathematics and computer science. Minimum content requirements include at least 20 ECTS in mathematics (covering statistics/probability theory, linear algebra, and calculus) and at least 15 ECTS in computer science, including both practical computer science (e.g. databases, operating systems, software engineering, distributed systems) and theoretical computer science (e.g. algorithms, data structures, automata theory, complexity theory, or logic). Applicants are strongly encouraged to demonstrate practical programming skills (e.g. Python) through project work, repositories (GitHub/GitLab), internships, or employer references. Submission of the Bachelor's thesis and related source code is highly recommended.

APS Certificate

An APS certificate is required for applicants who have completed their qualifying education in India, China, or Vietnam.
